Early Learning Programs (Ages 0-6)

  • Juntos Aprendemos is held weekly at area elementary schools, often where the child will attend Kindergarten. Children gain a first school experience in a nurturing school environment that embraces their parents, their culture, and their first language. Juntos Aprendemos uses the effective capacity building model of recruiting its teachers from parent graduates.

  • Focus on early childhood development, providing skill building activities, developmental and health screenings, kindergarten readiness and transition, and referrals to community resources through home visits and culturally and linguistically specific parent education classes. IRCO also helps keep families together, giving parents the support they need.

  • A free culturally-responsive program designed to help transition 3, 4, and 5 year old children and their parents/caregivers into Kindergarten. Early Ready, Set, Go! supports children and families from 0-3 years old. Through Parent-Child Interaction Groups, parent workshops, and home visits - our proven curriculum is effective and fun!

School Based Programs

  • Students will have access to culturally and linguistically specific student and family advocacy, academic tutoring, school day and after school support, AARP Experience Corps. reading program, social emotional skill development, and parent gatherings.

  • All ARPNI partners will utilize the Self Enhancement, Inc. Model of case management. Students will have support throughout the entire school day as well as after school programs and summer enrichment activities. Through mentorship, family engagement, academic advocacy, home visits, tutoring, SAT and ACT prep, access to technology, and individual success plans, students will be on track to graduate and succeed at the next level.

  • One on one financial coaching for students and their family members. This coaching helps families work toward building their assets and creating financial stability. Financial education for all ages. Classes hosted in school for elementary age students, after-school classes held for middle and high school students, and adult classes hosted for parents. Career coaching and support for parents. Career and college readiness programs for high school students. We also help families with tax navigation and preparation, access the Oregon IDA (matched savings program) and have an affordable car loan program for working families.
